When does the game come out?
Depending on what tier you back, you could be playing in the Island Skies as soon as next year!
We hope to have Alpha available to Kickstarter backers next year, with early access the year after that! We aren’t committing to a launch date for a “final version” of the game, as we see the development as an ongoing process. We want to always be releasing updates, and new and exciting experiences! When it does have its official launch, you all will have likely been playing for quite some time already!

PC?
The PC version of PuffPals: Island Skies will be releasing first! We’ll be starting with a release for the Alpha Access Kickstarter tier, where we’ll give people a chance to buy into early testing for the game, or “alpha”, then early access, and our final release!

Mobile?
We’ll be releasing mobile versions of PuffPals Island Skies some time after our initial alpha testing period! We want the game to be accessible to as many people as possible, so we’ll be working hard to make a mobile version of the game that is full featured, but well adapted to a smaller screen, less storage space, and a light processor!

Switch?
This one isn’t a guarantee, but if the kickstarter goes REALLY well, we’ll work on a release for switch! We’ll have the amount the campaign needs to raise for a switch version of the game listed in the kickstarter!

Will the game be Multiplayer?
That will depend entirely on Kickstarter funding, but we’d love to give our players the opportunity to play with their friends and loved ones in the magical world of PuffPals Island Skies!

Why should I pay for something so far from release?
We want to bring you along for the ride, and to give you a real say in what goes into the game as we’re making it! We think our plushies come out better when we bring our audience in on the design process, and we want to let you help mold this game into something great!
If being a part of making this game sounds fun, then we’ll be delivering on that before the kickstarter even finishes! But if that’s not something you’re interested in, we understand that too!

When will I be charged?
Cards will be charged after the campaign is done, and only if we get enough funding to meet our goal!

What is Alpha Access?
We’ll be releasing an early (alpha) version of the game once we feel we have an experience that’s ready to be played by people outside our team! It’ll be very rough around the edges, and there will be a lot that can still change, but that’s the fun of Alpha! You’ll get a chance to help us shape the game into what it’s meant to be! We’re hoping to have a version ready for our Alpha tier Kickstarter backers next year!

What is Early Access?
After our Alpha period is done, once we nail down a pretty solid idea of what we want the game to be like, we’ll open up the game to a broader audience with early access! The game will still have some bugs, but overall it will be pretty representative of what the official release will be! Our early access players will be essential in finding any remaining bugs, and figuring out what additional features and cosmetics we can add to the game!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
